Around 55 students of 4th and 6th semesters were participated from both the departments’ together. Students were departed from the college at around 8:30 and reached the destination at 10:45 and simultaneously had breakfast at the river bank of the valleys border crossing. After spending some time we were returned to the village for interacting with the villagers.
The students of the department of Economics were working on the project entitled “Socioeconomic development of Mushku Valley”. The students had collected data from the households through the questionnaire prepared for the purpose. The students of Sociology department were studied on “Socio-cultural change in Mushku Valley”. They were interacted with the villagers as well.
The students then had lunch in the village itself surrounded with the beautiful landscape. They had some fun time after lunch followed by memorable photo session. Students were also visited the Kargil War Memoril at Drass and returned to the college at 5:30pm.
The faculty members visited along with the students were Dr. Imtiyaz Ali Kharpa, Dr. Sohail Mohaudin and Dr. Syed Yassen. They were assisted by Mr. Zakir and Mr. Mustafa (Drivers).
