Government Degree College Kargil conducted an outreach program at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil on Wednesday 20th May 2026.This outreach program was aimed at counseling students for Higher Studies at College level and to inform the aspiring students about various facilities being provided by GDC Kargil for the students who pursue higher studies in the institution.
Kaniz Fatima (AP Education),Saba Sharif (AP Political Science) and Dr. Waseem Abbas (AP Geology) of the college represented the college for conducting this program.
The team Presented a detailed presentation about the facilities, courses offered and the benefits of the courses through PowerPoint.
During the program,the students were emphasized upon pursuing their UG courses from local institutions instead of opting for the same from outside colleges as colleges like GDC Kargil has been imparting quality higher education at the doorstep with all important facilities in every respect. An overwhelming response from the students seen during the program.
GDC Kargil extends sincere gratitude to Principal and staff members of GHSS Kargil for their cooperation and giving this opportunity to interact with the students.
